発動すると背部に搭載されたオービットがコアより分離して上部に展開し、自動で敵を捕捉して攻撃を仕掛ける。~
軽量コアは1基、中量以上は2基装備しており、クレスト系は実弾タイプ、ミラージュ系はEN弾タイプを採用している。~
前者は機体のENを気にする必要がない反面弾切れになった場合の回復手段が無く、後者は機体のENに気を配る必要があるが、格納することで弾数を回復できるという特徴がある。~
なので、クレスト系は対戦向き、ミラージュ系はミッション向きと言える。~
なお、この機能を搭載したコアにはハンガーを搭載したものは無い。~
またAC3、SLにおいてEOはセカンドロックしないため、要注意。~
AC4から、この機能は廃止されてしまった。~
